So fantastic belting about checking in on polling stations, how the staff are getting on, what turn out is, and having yet more glorious conversations with electors in car parks, well outside each curtilage! 🅿️
And chatting to the tourists. Just met lots of fabulous American pilgrims on St Cuthbert’s Way, in a blustery break in the downpours. I started my campaign being shouted at by the sheep and lambs at Cessford Castle, and it’s lovely to be here again on Polling Day. But it confused the hell out of the tourists. 🐑🤣
Now, you lovely electors, get out of the office, or home, or tractor, or off the quayside and vote. No rush! You’ve got till 10pm to find and get to your local polling station. 🗳️
