Pledged up, ready to hit the road

Happy Summer Solstice!

At last I feel well enough tomorrow to get back out there and canvass like it’s 199..7 again, or something.

I have spent the last four days trying to get my health back on track at home, but productively enough ploughing through the fascinating and illuminating mountain of prospective constituents’ emails, none of which I take for granted, and all of which I have taken as useful opportunities to think through issues I had not investigated before. I’ve prepared answers on about 70 different issues, and only referred one of the organisations emailing me to counter-terrorism police for foreign state interference and intimidating candidates.

For about 65 of the 70 issues, it’s been a joy and an honour to pledge myself as a champion for such a broad array of causes that I had not focussed on fully before, and that have been very interesting to get to know in more detail.

But I miss door-knocking and talking to constituents in person, so off out I will be going in the morning.

In the meantime, here are some graphics for causes I have now signed up to.
